this is my website name, online QR codes cost money so i couldn’t make one.
I learned a lot about how to make a user-friendly website while working on the Web Design assignment for my fourth-grade science teacher website. I arranged the calendar, pictures, and links in a tidy manner using design concepts like alignment. To make it easier for parents and children to notice what's coming up, I, for instance, introduced a vivid calendar to highlight significant dates and events. To make the website more interesting, I also added images that dealt with science-related subjects. Although I had fun creating the style, I initially had trouble getting the links to function properly. All things considered, this experience taught me how to create informative and aesthetically pleasing website skills that will be helpful in my future work, particularly in the digital or educational fields.
Making a multi-subject scavenger hunt is an inventive method to employ QR codes in the classroom. Every QR code may be posted across the classroom or school and connected to various learning materials related to the topic being studied, such as articles, videos, or tests. Students could, for instance, scan a QR code to view a brief documentary about a historical event during a history class, and then respond to questions depending on their understanding of the material. Students can study material at their own pace thanks to this, which also promotes active learning and engagement.
Case Study: Because the app shares data with third-party advertisers, a teacher who uses it to track student attendance and performance is worried about privacy. In this situation, I would advise putting in place stringent data privacy guidelines and making sure the app conforms with laws pertaining to education, such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). This entails utilizing data only for educational objectives and informing parents and children in a clear and concise manner of the data being gathered and its intended use. This method offers an ethical alternative that puts student rights and educational efficacy first while protecting students' privacy and preserving the advantages of technology for monitoring attendance and performance.
Hello, Alyssa! Your website showed many principles seen on the lesson. The alignment and repetition made it easy for me to look through it and understand the topics.
ReplyDeleteHi Alyssa. I like how you organized your website in a tidy manner. It made everything very clear and easy to access. One tip would be to remove the pages you don't use from the template. I could still push on them even though you didn't use them for your website. Overall great job!
