Teacher Pages on a School Website

Keeping up-to-date class pages on their websites, which include crucial information for parents and students, is a requirement for many schools. Class schedules, syllabus information, deadlines for assignments, and resources such as links to online textbooks or teaching aids are frequently included on these pages. Teachers may also publish announcements, project instructions, and communication choices on their websites. Improving openness and educating families about what's going on in the classroom are the goals.

Using Technology for Professional Responsibilities

My goal is to use technology to simplify my work duties by employing platforms like Google Classroom for student communication and assignment administration. I also intend to track my work toward curriculum goals and manage lesson preparations. I would use programs for grading in order to streamline the evaluation procedure. I can manage classroom responsibilities more efficiently by incorporating these tools, which will free up more time for student participation and individualized education.

Experience with Canvas Group Tool

I worked with classmates in Assignment 2 using the Canvas group tool, and I liked how well-organized it was for handling group assignments. It was useful to be able to track individual contributions, share files, and have discussions. But occasionally, I felt that the user  was a little confusing, especially when switching between groups which i’ve had to do in multiple classes. If I had to offer an alternative, I would advise Microsoft Teams because of how smoothly and intuitively its chat, video call, and file sharing integration works for group communication.
