Blogging Experience

I've found that blogging has given me an insightful and creative outlet, allowing me to explore a variety of subjects and improve my writing. I like being able to interact with a larger group of people and start conversations through shares and comments. Blogging's flexibility allows me to try out several forms and styles, from a more informal to a more official one. A limitation, though, is that it might be difficult to continuously provide interesting, original content. I've discovered that the secret to keeping flow and content fresh is to plan ahead and schedule posts. I've learned how important it is to change content according to audience preferences thanks to this procedure.

 Initial Experiences with Generative AI

In the beginning, I experimented with generative AI by using tools such as GPT to help with ideation, article generation, and even summarizing intricate subjects. The speed at which the AI could generate text was amazing, yet there were several difficulties. For example, although it was great at coming up with well-reasoned answers and brainstorming, it occasionally lacked depth when it came to more specialized or specialized themes. I also had trouble using it for extremely technical writing, where accuracy was essential. Still, I found it useful for getting beyond writer's block and finishing drafts of content faster.

 Envisioning Generative AI in Teaching

In order to assist students with idea generation, writing development, and advanced idea study, I hope to implement generative AI in my teaching approach. AI can help students, for example, with essay drafting, study advice, and even providing explanations for complicated concepts. I would stress the value of AI as a tool rather than as a replacement for critical thinking.  Academic trust would be severely compromised if students weren't taught responsible AI usage practices and there wasn't any openness around the technology.
